As Chairman of Vnesto Capital in Korea Ted K. Song has more than 25 years experience in fundraising, management, international trade & development, urban planning, and systems engineering in both Korea and the U.S. Mr. Song manages over a staff of 15 and has originated and fundraised for numerous projects in South East Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa, and Korea.
Mr. Song continues to have extensive ties to the Korean business community and is the President and CEO of KBEC Korea, Vice Chair of KM Green Co., Ltd., Vice President of PMC Environmental Group, and President of US Dia Co., Ltd.. At KBEC his achievements include securing CDM Rights for Phouc Hiep Landfill 1 & Dong Than Landfill in Hochiminh City, Vietnam. Created Hydro Technology for sludge, food, and animal manure treatment, which produces electricity, and secured approval from Korean Ministry of Environment as a New Technology Secured contract for Jungnang Sludge Treatment Project utilizing Hydro Technology. Mr. Song has been a senior level executive in a variety of corporate settings, developing and implementing company-wide strategic plans and budgets that have resulted in sustained, managed growth. He has extensive hands-on experience in managing staff at all levels; in developing new business relationships; in ensuring that projects adhere to budgets, plans, and all regulatory guidelines and restrictions; in marketing; and in overseeing day-to-day operations, government relations, and public relations.
In the US Mr. Song has held positions as chief city planner for Lynwood in 1994-1998. Additionally, Deputy for Mayor Office of Business and Economy from 1986-1988.
Mr. Song holds patents and licenses in utilizing evapo-transpiration of planted block of particular plants to accomplish leachate non-discharge system (Patent no. 0468999, issued by the Korea Intellectual Property Office)
Mr. Song received a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of California, San Diego
